Although our packaging says "styling cream" we've realized the product is more complex than a single category. Our premium ingredients put Chaptr in its' own lane, in between both a clay and a cream. This texture is exactly what allows Chaptr to work for all hair types, lengths, & styles without drying hair out.

No. This product is matte & will provide texture without drying hair out. Chaptr is formulated with both soybean oil and jojoba oil to keep your hair and scalp healthy & hydrated.

Bentonite clay has many great propoerties that naturally condition & de-frizz hair. More notably it works as a detoxifier for hair, drawing out any toxins that may be present from product buildup. Think of bentonite clay as a magnet for buildup, dirt, & impurities. However frequently you wash product out of your hair, you'll also remove all impurities and buildup along with it.

Kaolin clay moisturizes hair without stripping it of natural oils. This is also where the matte texture of Chaptr stems from. Kaolin clay is responsible for providing fullness & texture to your hair without weighing it down.
